Jewellery-making courses
Learn something new, prove your skill and take pride in your own piece of hand-made jewellery.
Are you still looking for the jewellery piece of your dreams? Do you think you could make it best yourself, and would you like an inside view of the jeweller’s craft?
I will help you make it happen and fully support your project at this weekend jewellery-making workshop.
Courses are held in my Modern Jewellery Studio (Atelier moderního šperku) at Panská 8 in the historic centre of České Budějovice.
Sessions total seven hours, from 8:30 to 12:00 and 13:00 to 16:30 saturday and sunday.
The course fee includes light refreshments, coffee and drinks in the workshop.
On the course I will first teach you basic jewellery techniques, before we set about working on your design and putting it into practice. You can make an entire collection or just one original piece.
You will work with my guidance at your own fully equipped jeweller’s workbench, in my cosy little workshop, with all tool and equipment provided.
At the end of the course you will take away your finished creation in sterling silver (Ag 925) weighing 5 grams in total. If you need more materials or a precious / semi-precious stone, you can buy them from me.
Course content:
Day 1: familiarisation with basic jewellery techniques, selecting stones, designing and making jewellery.
Day 2: finalisation of the piece, stone setting, polishing and photography.
